Funding: MIT Grant Application

The Meat Industry Trust (MIT) South Africa has launched a new grant application for South African youth in agriculture to apply for the opportunity to access R2 million grant for their agribusiness (anywhere along the agriculture value chain and any commodity). MIT grant seeks to assist existing young Black Female Farmers to grow their businesses and increase their production output in the South African Market.

The Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme (KAFP), a fully funded scholarship opportunity for South African students is seeking application for it 2021 fellowship program. KAFP offers the opportunity to further develop skills and knowledge to contribute to socio-economic development and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in South Africa. The programme is targeted at early career professional women and men in South Africa, with leadership potential. In particular, the KAFP aims to support students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue Master’s level education in Ireland. In 2021, fellowships will be offered for postgraduate study in: Agriculture, Environmental Science, Conservation, Rural Development; Food Science, Food Engineering and related etc.
